What is the process of getting permanent jewelry?

1. Selection: Start by choosing your preferred chain style and material, available in 925 sterling silver or gold filled options.

2. Custom Fitting: We ensure a perfect fit for your wrist, ankle, or desired necklace length.

3. Welding: We weld the piece securely together.

Does it hurt?

No! The process is quick and pain-free.

How long will it last?

With proper care and maintenance, your jewelry can last for many years. Please see the Jewelry Care tab for more information.

What if it breaks?

While our jewelry is designed for longevity, it’s not indestructible. If your piece requires repair due to breakage, our re-weld service is complimentary the first time, no questions asked. Please note, all sales are final and we are not liable for lost jewelry.

How do I remove it?

We recommend cutting it at the weld spot with a pair of nail clippers. This ensures easy removal while preserving the integrity of the piece. If you decide to wear it again in the future, we can re-weld it.

Is it TSA approved?

Yes! You can wear your permanent jewelry through airport security without any issues.

 

What if I need to have an MRI?

It’s best to remove your jewelry for an MRI. Cut it at the weld site and we will re-weld it.

 

Can I swim with it?

Yes! We recommend washing your jewelry after being exposed to chlorine or salt water and limiting use of hot tubs.

Can my child receive permanent jewelry from Chic Linc?

Due to safety reasons, we don't weld on anyone under the age of 12. Adding a clasp is always an option!
